The site
This 1.7 acre commercial lot in Ocean View has a one-story building, a large parking lot and the site features around them. The engineer needed existing conditions they could trust to make the best use of the land.
What we did
Our FAA Part 107 certified pilot mapped the site from the air, and we built an orthomosaic and point cloud with half-inch pixels.
From that data we drafted the building, the pavement and the site features in CAD, and built a 3D model of the existing building so the engineer could see its condition before making design decisions.
